This podcast takes on modern conceptions of sexual pleasure and how we “should” be experiencing pleasure. By completely putting aside societal expectations and giving herself space to have new experiences Nicole has opened so many doors that I didn’t know existed. Interesting, insightful, and feel-good. You leave the episode feeling empowered.

Modern Anarchy intertwines relationships, sex, societal structures, and more. So many podcasts that discuss alternative styles of living/relationships often seem to do so in a bubble that ignores social structures. In this podcast, however, Nicole acknowledges the complexities of it all and approaches conversations in a gentle and open-minded way. I also love the nomination approach to finding speakers - it makes for really great conversations with people that might not otherwise be heard.
Leah
I really appreciate Nicole’s bold approach to this show. The guests are brilliant. These progressive conversations question everything and inspire listeners to keep the ideas flowing.

Nicole is an incredible host, but the real meat of the podcast comes from the content she's putting out into the world. I mean, if I would have had this available to me when I was younger things would have been SO different. Guess I'll just have to keep learning and listening to the wisdom that seems to follow her wherever she goes. I love this host, I love this podcast and I love the person I'm becoming because of it.
Rae
This podcast is a must listen for anyone interested in mental health, sexuality, and a more expansive approach to relationships. Whether you are already deeply involved in those scenes or just starting to curiously dip your toes in, you will find a warm, welcome, joyful exploration of ideas and concepts. Nicole brings her wealth of knowledge from her academic background and clinical experience to thought provoking, educational, engaging interviews. The guests are fascinating and the host is a delight to listen to. 15/5 stars.

I feel much more embodied and confident. I know what I want, I know what I need, and I know where my edges are. I also know how to be confident in how I would like to relate and be related to.

I am LOVING this education. Over and over again, I think "If I had only had this information at the beginning, how much suffering would it have alleviated?"

We truly don’t think we would have reached this level of clarity and depth without Dr. Nicole. Having her as a sounding board and guide has been such a gift. We are deeply grateful for the wisdom, presence, and care she’s given us.

I am leaving with more trust in myself than I had when I arrived. I feel more capable of honoring my desires, setting boundaries, staying curious about my reactions, and participating in the creation of my own future. I don’t feel finished, but I do feel more myself.

I’m far more aware of my sensual, erotic, and sexual desires, more willing to enjoy those forms of pleasure, and more confident in sharing them with others. I’m more honest with myself and others about what would truly make life more wonderful for me.

I feel less tightness in my body when sharing around relationships, intimacy, and eroticism. I’ve also expanded my idea of what it is possible for me to want in my interactions with other people
